Iran’s ‘The Sea’ on way to Twin Rivers fest

Iranian short flick ‘The Sea’ has been set to take part in the 2022 edition of the Twin Rivers Media Festival in the US.

Written and directed by Sahra Ramezanian, the flick will be among the works to compete at the 27th edition of the US event.

The film is about a group of friends who are planning for a trip to the north of Iran, not knowing an unexpected event is expecting them.

Farzaneh Salahshour, Farzad Alavi, Pouya Haqiqi and the director are among the cast members of the flick.

The film has already taken part in a number of global events, including the London Short Film Festival and New Filmmakers filmfest, both in the US.

The Twin Rivers Media Festival is an annual event awarding its winners with cash prizes.

This year’s event will be launched on March 26.
